2016 EducationUSA Competitive College Club Bitola Meeting

On December 30th 2015 the new group of high school students, who will take part at the new season of the EducationUSA Competitive College Club Bitola, had their first meeting at the American Corner Bitola. After the highly dedicated work on this project in the past years, it reached a great popularity amongst the high school students in Bitola and the region.
Ms. Biljana Kuzmanovska Tasetovikj, AC Bitola Coordinator and EducationUSA Adviser talked more about the importance of the club, the expectations, tasks and responsibilities. Sharing the previous successes stories of CCC participants who are currently studying in the U.S., Ms. Kuzmanovska Tasetovikj emphasized the importance of being dedicated and consistent to the meetings and tasks.
The participants together with Ms. Kuzmanovska rounded the meeting with planning of their future activities related to the process of preparation of their competitive college applications.

Pre-departure orientation session for Jana & Marijana!

On August 8th the AC Bitola/American Educational Center Bitola organized a pre-departure orientation session for Marijana Miloshevska and Jana Gagacheva who are about to depart from Bitola and start their studies in the United States! The session was held by YES Alumni Marija Torkova and Ivana Gruevska. Numerous tips and a box of tools were given to Jana and Marijana to equip them for the outstanding experienc e that awaits for them in the U.S.

IEW SCHOOL VISITS As a part of International Education Week 2018, EducationUSA adviser Biljana K. Tasetovikj visited several Macedonian schools and colleges and spoke with more than 130 students about the opportunities of the U.S. higher education system. On November 13, she visited schools in south-west Macedonia, high schools "Niko Nestor" - Struga, "Yahya Kemal College" - Struga, Gymnasium "St. Kliment Ohridski" - Ohrid and the University of Information Science and Technology "St. Paul the Apostle" - Ohrid. The students had the chance to learn about opportunities to obtain undergraduate and graduate education in the USA as well as the benefits of becoming a member of the American Corner in Struga.
