April meetings

On Monday, April 15th, the CCC Bitola members attended their 9th meeting in order to discuss higher education in the United State. Namely, the two main topics for discussion this time were how these international high school students can choose a U.S. accredited institution and what kind of international undergraduate financial aid U.S. colleges and universities offer. With the support of the AC Coordinator and EdUSA adviser Biljana Kuzmanovska, the students started to build up their list of prospective colleges and universities following several criteria for selection such as the SAT I/ SAT II/ TOEFL range, admission rate, financial aid policy and required supplements. During this second EdUSA CCC meeting in April, the CCC Bitola members had the opportunity to discuss in further details the time line for taking SAT I, SAT II and TOEFL iBT and the possibility of creating study buddy groups for preparation of these entrance tests during the summer break.
