CollegeWeekLive International Student Day - Virtual Fair

EducationUSA, a U.S. Department of State-supported network of 400 international student advising centers in more than 170 countries, and CollegeWeekLive, the world's leading website for online college fairs and admissions events, have joined forces to offer a convenient and cost-free way for international students to learn about higher education opportunities in the United States.

On August 19th 2015 the American Corner Bitola / Educational Center Bitola organized an International Students Day, where students could log in to CollegeWeekLive to chat live with representatives from more than 100 U.S. colleges and universities, learn about current college students' experiences, and get advice from international education experts. 

The American Corner Bitola /American Educational Center Bitola was part of this virtual education fair organizing viewing sessions for a presentation titled: "Undergraduate Admissions and Funding" by Tanushka Bali, EducationUSA. This presentation provided the attending students with an insight into various options and important information about the UG admissions process and financing as well as an overview of different types of institutions and programs.

Pre-departure orientation session for Jana & Marijana!

On August 8th the AC Bitola/American Educational Center Bitola organized a pre-departure orientation session for Marijana Miloshevska and Jana Gagacheva who are about to depart from Bitola and start their studies in the United States! The session was held by YES Alumni Marija Torkova and Ivana Gruevska. Numerous tips and a box of tools were given to Jana and Marijana to equip them for the outstanding experienc e that awaits for them in the U.S.

IEW SCHOOL VISITS As a part of International Education Week 2018, EducationUSA adviser Biljana K. Tasetovikj visited several Macedonian schools and colleges and spoke with more than 130 students about the opportunities of the U.S. higher education system. On November 13, she visited schools in south-west Macedonia, high schools "Niko Nestor" - Struga, "Yahya Kemal College" - Struga, Gymnasium "St. Kliment Ohridski" - Ohrid and the University of Information Science and Technology "St. Paul the Apostle" - Ohrid.
