Essay writing session with Marija Iloska

On July 4th, AC Bitola held an Essay Writing Session with the members of the EdUSA Competitive College Club Bitola, with presenter Marija Iloska, current student at Stony Brook University. In this session, Marija introduced the members with the meaning of the rhetorical elements: ethos, pathos, and logos. The attendees discussed the importance of these elements in particular examples, and the effect that they have on readers. At the end, the members came up with sentences, in which they implemented the usage of ethos, pathos, and logos.

Pre-departure orientation session for Jana & Marijana!

On August 8th the AC Bitola/American Educational Center Bitola organized a pre-departure orientation session for Marijana Miloshevska and Jana Gagacheva who are about to depart from Bitola and start their studies in the United States! The session was held by YES Alumni Marija Torkova and Ivana Gruevska. Numerous tips and a box of tools were given to Jana and Marijana to equip them for the outstanding experienc e that awaits for them in the U.S.

IEW SCHOOL VISITS As a part of International Education Week 2018, EducationUSA adviser Biljana K. Tasetovikj visited several Macedonian schools and colleges and spoke with more than 130 students about the opportunities of the U.S. higher education system. On November 13, she visited schools in south-west Macedonia, high schools "Niko Nestor" - Struga, "Yahya Kemal College" - Struga, Gymnasium "St. Kliment Ohridski" - Ohrid and the University of Information Science and Technology "St. Paul the Apostle" - Ohrid.
