EducationUSA Caravan - Bitola's High Schools || 17&19.5.2017

The American Corner Bitola organized the EducationUSA Caravan at four high schools in Bitola: Josip Broz Tito High School, Jane Sandaski High School of Economics, Gjorgji Naumov Technical High School and Taki Daskalo High School. The purpose of the caravan is to get the students familiar with the EducationUSA opportunities, more specifically with the Competitive College Club (CCC) in Bitola and the available resources at the American Corner Bitola. Around 100 students from second and third year had the chance to learn more about the amazing resources of the Corner and the opportunities that high school students from all over the world have through the CCC program through Ms. Biljana Kuzmanopvska Tasetovikj, Senior EducationUSA Adviser and Xeno Carpenter - New, Fulbright scholar at Taki Daskalo High school, who shared the international students' stories from former CCC scholars who are currently studying in the U.S. and answered many questions about the college application process and college life in the U.S.

Pre-departure orientation session for Jana & Marijana!

On August 8th the AC Bitola/American Educational Center Bitola organized a pre-departure orientation session for Marijana Miloshevska and Jana Gagacheva who are about to depart from Bitola and start their studies in the United States! The session was held by YES Alumni Marija Torkova and Ivana Gruevska. Numerous tips and a box of tools were given to Jana and Marijana to equip them for the outstanding experienc e that awaits for them in the U.S.

IEW SCHOOL VISITS As a part of International Education Week 2018, EducationUSA adviser Biljana K. Tasetovikj visited several Macedonian schools and colleges and spoke with more than 130 students about the opportunities of the U.S. higher education system. On November 13, she visited schools in south-west Macedonia, high schools "Niko Nestor" - Struga, "Yahya Kemal College" - Struga, Gymnasium "St. Kliment Ohridski" - Ohrid and the University of Information Science and Technology "St. Paul the Apostle" - Ohrid.
