EducationUSA Caravan at SOU "Mirche Acev" - Prilep

On April 1st the students at the high school "Mirche Acev" in Prilep were visited by the EducationUSA Caravan organized by the American Corner Bitola/EducationUSA Center Bitola. The AC Bitola Coordinator and EducationUSA Adviser Biljana Kuzmanovska Tasetovikj introduced the students to the EducationUSA opportunities, more specifically with the edUSA Competitive College Club (CCC) in Bitola and the available resources at the American Corner Bitola.
EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of over 400 international student advising centers in more than 170 countries. The network promotes U.S. higher education to students around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about opportunities to study at accredited postsecondary institutions in the United States.
Biljana, Senior EducationUSA Adviser also shared with the students the amazing success stories from former CCC scholars who are currently studying in the U.S.
The American Corner Bitola also surveyed the students on several question concerning the types of program they will like to attend at the Corner and the different resources that they are interested in.

Pre-departure orientation session for Jana & Marijana!

On August 8th the AC Bitola/American Educational Center Bitola organized a pre-departure orientation session for Marijana Miloshevska and Jana Gagacheva who are about to depart from Bitola and start their studies in the United States! The session was held by YES Alumni Marija Torkova and Ivana Gruevska. Numerous tips and a box of tools were given to Jana and Marijana to equip them for the outstanding experienc e that awaits for them in the U.S.

IEW SCHOOL VISITS As a part of International Education Week 2018, EducationUSA adviser Biljana K. Tasetovikj visited several Macedonian schools and colleges and spoke with more than 130 students about the opportunities of the U.S. higher education system. On November 13, she visited schools in south-west Macedonia, high schools "Niko Nestor" - Struga, "Yahya Kemal College" - Struga, Gymnasium "St. Kliment Ohridski" - Ohrid and the University of Information Science and Technology "St. Paul the Apostle" - Ohrid.
