“My Fulbright experience…and what comes after”

On November 18th 2015 as part of the 2015 International Education Week, the American Corner Bitola/American Educational Center Bitola organized a presentation titled “My Fulbright experience…and what comes after” with Ms. Mima Pejoska, Artist / Wearable Arts & Craft Specialist and Fulbright Alumna. 
Ms. Pejoska talked more with the attendees on her study abroad at Savannah College of Art and Design through the Fulbright program. She shared her experience as one of the life changing adventures, first of all for meeting new peers and on the other side for learning so many new things in the field of contemporary art. Ms. Pejoska also talked about her ongoing projects and her future plans.

Pre-departure orientation session for Jana & Marijana!

On August 8th the AC Bitola/American Educational Center Bitola organized a pre-departure orientation session for Marijana Miloshevska and Jana Gagacheva who are about to depart from Bitola and start their studies in the United States! The session was held by YES Alumni Marija Torkova and Ivana Gruevska. Numerous tips and a box of tools were given to Jana and Marijana to equip them for the outstanding experienc e that awaits for them in the U.S.

IEW SCHOOL VISITS As a part of International Education Week 2018, EducationUSA adviser Biljana K. Tasetovikj visited several Macedonian schools and colleges and spoke with more than 130 students about the opportunities of the U.S. higher education system. On November 13, she visited schools in south-west Macedonia, high schools "Niko Nestor" - Struga, "Yahya Kemal College" - Struga, Gymnasium "St. Kliment Ohridski" - Ohrid and the University of Information Science and Technology "St. Paul the Apostle" - Ohrid. The students had the chance to learn about opportunities to obtain undergraduate and graduate education in the USA as well as the benefits of becoming a member of the American Corner in Struga.
